「と」connecting nouns.  Means "and".

The particle と can be use to connecting two nouns or more than two nouns.

Example sentence:

上野さんは英語と日本語が話せます。（ Mr.上野 can speak English and Japanese. ） 

高橋さんと小野さんと鈴木さんは大学生です。（ Mr.高橋 and Mr.小野 and Mr.鈴木 are college students. ）

「そして」connecting phrase.  Means "and".

When two similar sentences are presented one after another, the connective そして can be used to relate the sentences.  そして  is placed at the beginning of the second sentence.

Example sentence:

新しい本を買いました。そして今日から読みます。（ I bought a new book.  And i will start to read it today. ）

山内さんは日本人です。そして、佐藤さんも日本人です。（ Mr.山内 is a Japanese.  And Mr.佐藤 is also a Japanese. ）
